Assistant SEN Practitioner: £14.50 per hour, increasing to £15.50 after six months and successful completion of probation. Everyday support role working from an agreed Compass plan. Responsibilities include everyday participation and routines, play and interest-led activities, basic communication and independence support, prepared literacy, maths or communication activities, session observation, accurate recording and family feedback. Compass prepares the plan; the Assistant Practitioner delivers and records it and escalates concerns or required changes.

SEN Practitioner: £19.00 per hour, increasing to £20.50 after six months and successful completion of probation. Includes all Assistant responsibilities plus targeted literacy, maths and communication work, in-session adaptation, regulation and independence support, detailed progress recording and agreed EHCP-linked work. Requires relevant SEND experience or recognised qualifications, safe person-centred practice, strong recording skills and independent targeted-support competence.

Senior SEN Practitioner: £25.00 per hour, increasing to £27.50 after six months and successful completion of probation. Includes all SEN Practitioner responsibilities plus advanced curriculum and functional learning, complex SEND programme design, comprehensive progress review, advanced EHCP-linked delivery and adaptation, leadership of complex delivery and informed programme refinement. Requires substantial SEND experience, appropriate advanced qualifications or specialist evidence, strong safeguarding judgement, leadership capability and high-quality planning and documentation. Final title and pay are confirmed by the Director after evidence review.
