Compass brings education, communication, emotional wellbeing and everyday life skills together. We listen first, create the plan, match the right practitioner and keep families informed throughout the journey.
What we support
Support can take place at home, in the community, through learning activities or alongside school priorities. The focus is always practical, respectful and personal.
Support with speech, signs, visuals, AAC, understanding language, choices and meaningful interaction.
Calm, child-centred strategies for anxiety, overwhelm, transitions, emotions and recovery after difficult moments.
Personalised teaching across subjects using the pace, interests, visuals and practical approaches that help the child engage.
Routines, choices, mealtimes, community skills and manageable steps towards greater independence.
Play-based activities, shared attention, turn-taking, confidence, interests, trips and supported community experiences.
Families remain involved through feedback, practical strategies, dashboard updates and communication with the Key Worker.
How support works
Share your child’s needs, strengths, goals, routines and preferred support.
Compass reviews the information and identifies the most suitable level of support.
Your Key Worker creates the support plan, outcomes and agreed approach.
The right practitioner is allocated according to the support required.
Notes, feedback and progress are reviewed so support can develop over time.
Every session matters
Compass plans the support. The practitioner delivers it, records what happened and reports back. The Key Worker reviews progress and updates the plan when needed.
The right support at the right time
Families can choose the package they feel is right for them. Compass may evaluate the information provided and suggest a different package where we believe another level of support would be more suitable. We advise, explain our reasons and identify any limits, but the family decides whether to accept the recommendation.

You may accept the Compass recommendation, request a review or choose a different package. Where a family selects a lower level than advised, we explain which elements may not be included and confirm the agreed support before any booking is made.

Your named point of contact
While Compass is a small team, the Director / Manager also acts as the family’s Key Worker and remains responsible for the overall plan and quality of support.
