Questions for providers
- What training do staff have?
- Can the child attend a trial or observe first?
- What is the group size and staffing ratio?
- Can instructions be demonstrated visually?
- Are changing rooms, hoists and pool access suitable?
- How are distress, communication and medical needs handled?
Choose the right fit
Inclusive does not always mean specialist. Ask exactly what adjustments are available, whether a parent or carer may stay, and what happens if the child needs a break or cannot complete the session.
